Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Three words that have everyone hooked on, yet, they often end up receiving the short end of the stick, and the consequences are borne by talent and organisations.
Global socio-economic events have intensified the spotlight on DEI in recent years, which is mirrored in the scale of dialogue taking place today. While there is acknowledgement of the volume of work ahead of us to bring about authentic and sustainable equity at the workplace, the degree of preparation paints a worrisome reality.
In an effort to understand where the global sphere of people and work stand in their journey to building a diverse, inclusive and equitable ecosystem, People Matters launched its maiden multi-industry DEI survey in February 2022.
About 100 unique organisations participated in the study with an overwhelming majority representing the APAC region, shedding light on the trivial realities, struggle and progress when it comes to building diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces.
